Theme : " What am I going to do "
Aims : Knowledge of the
pattern be going to in expressing future plans
Skill in using be going to future
in a communicative situation.
Objectives : By the end
of the lesson , the students will be able to:

going to future
-- answer the questions with be
going to
-- ask questions with be
going to
1. Org. monument (
greetings , warm-up : make a circle - play ''Flash pictures''
Every student select interesting picture off the Internet - what I
like to do ( at home). P1 - "I like swimming" and shows his picture ,
P2 , p3, etc. Afterwards students meet
up in a small groups , mix the pictures
and remember, who likes swimming, reading, fishing , etc.
2.Theme and aims of the
lesson. Introducing different stages of a lesson.
And today you'll know , how to say ''что я собираюсь сделать''.
3. Presentation " be
going + to + Infinitive ".
a).Students
read grammar material p. 217 , discuss
in groups and present - the 1
st group -
affirmative sentences , the 2 group -
interrogative sentences and the 3 d group - negative sentences , give examples
.( "Зигзаг'') Students
form other groups - S1 from the first group, S 1 from the 2 group and S1 from the 3 d group sit together ,
S222,S333. They teach each other . Then every 3d student from the group explain
material to the class.
b).ex. 1, p. 128 Students read and match the sentences with
the words .
c). Presentation new phrases : to cook a meal, to take a shower,
to ride a bike, is going to.
d). Talk to partner ( ex. 2, 3,4 , p. 129 )
4. Homework : ex. 11, p.
131 ( write, what are you and your parents , sisters, brothers going to do on
Sunday.)
5. Reflection. Summary.
